Weekend Quick Pix

Well it's back to the grind tomorrow, but my week off ended with a great weekend.

A Wonderful Wednesday

Being as I am on mid-winter break (yes, FP maybe the one and only district to still honor this magnificent and very necessary break) this week I thought it would be a great opportunity to take Zander on his first trip to the zoo. However..... it still being "winter" and a little cold outside I was forced to reconsider and reschedule his first zoo trip until spring break. So instead we took Zander and Ryker down town in search of some indoor fun. Unfortunately finding fun for a 1 1/2 year old and a 5 month old can be quite difficult, so we settled for a walk through freighthouse square, taking fun pictures, daring to use a very questionable elevator, discovering a magnificent lego room, eating yummy pizza, and ending with a car ride that put both exhausted boys to sleep. All in all I felt like one lucky lady to speand the day with three fabulous boys.

Happy Belated Valentines Day!

I was lucky enough to have two handsome Valentines this year. Hope you all had a wonderful Valentines Day too.

5 Months and Lovin It!

Zander is 5 months and it seems he keeps getting better with age. At 5 months he has tried green beans, carrots, sweet potatoes and apples and loves all of them! His favorite however are apples, we can't feed him fast enough. At 5 months he loves to stand (with support), play with his feet, weird sounds, the song "Five Little Speckled Frogs" and chewing on EVERYTHING. At 5 months Zander has 2 teeth, can sit up for several seconds minutes on his own, roll over every which way, and talks a lot! He has even said "mamma", and yes I have witnesses, and yes I am aware this was probably accidental and just a coincidence. It seems like each day he is doing something new and is more fun than the day before.

His First Tooth!

So the constant drooling, chewing on everything and crankiness proved to be all for a good reason. On Monday evening (January 30, 2012) I discovered the tip of Zander's first tooth (on the front bottom left)! And I have a feeling there's another on it's way. This weekend we will be making an oh so important trip to the drugstore to pick up a few teething necessities. He is getting too big too fast.
