So last Saturday we ventured to BabiesRus and purchased are very first and very expensive first baby item. We fell in love with the crib right away! What do you think? We think it will be perfect for a boy or a girl and will turn into a toddler and full size bed. We also love the matching dressers but have not purchased those yet. Maybe a loving family/friend will be purchasing it for us?!?! Oh don't worry you have plenty of time.

Baby Stover is 11 weeks old!
Baby Stover is now the size of a lime. Our little fetus has the same size head as he does body. Fuzz continues to grow all over his/her gorgeous yet transparent skin. I'm feeling good, not crying as much and have figured out how to keep the icky feeling to a minimum. I am off this week... yah Franklin Pierce and their dedication to keep the Mid-Winter Break! Our goal is to clear out the office/guest room in preparation of our little ones new room. We ordered the crib on Saturday so the first "big" purchase is checked off our list. However many to go. Anyways, so far so good. I feel very well and very happy.

10 weeks!
Our baby is now the size of a kumquat... a little over an inch long from crown to bottom. Baby Stover has completed most of his/her development. Organs and tissues are rapidly growing and maturing, along with tiny finger and toe nails. Baby Stover is even growing peach fuzz hair!

Baby Stover's First Picture!
Today was our first doctor’s appointment. We found out that Baby Stover is 9 1/2 weeks and my tentative due date is September 12th. We had our first ultra sound and as soon as the nurse said "and there's your baby”, I started crying. It was so unbelievable. Finally, I was able to control my sobbing long enough for Brandon to record the heartbeat. So far, our baby is strong and healthy. Brandon thinks the heart beat sounds like a boy but we won't know until 20 weeks. Regardless we feel very lucky.
